Adventure trail with interactive stops in the footsteps of Sidra
Around one million visitors come to the region of San Sebastián (Basque region) between January and Easter, to taste fresh sidra, traditional cider. However, other than eating and drinking, there was a lack of any additional facilities for tourists. The "Sidra Trail" adventure trail should involve guests for longer and, first and foremost, extend the experience to last the entire year. At each station, walkers "meet" a person who (via audio module) tells of historic sidra production in the past and present. To this end, visitors can themselves turn the wheel of the press, climb onto a ship or play a traditional instrument. pronatour was commissioned to plan and implement this project by the Sidra Museum in Astigarraga. The trail is a perfect continuation of the museum exhibition.
